Criticism of the new government

Old/new members of government and an agenda that has been kept too open: This is how journalist Anita Elö sums up Hungary's new government. "It's amazingly similar to the old government, despite having more ministers with renamed portfolios and new functions. The older generation of socialists is no longer participating in the 'government of reforms', while the 'KISZ generation' is gaining influence [KISZ is the former communist youth organisation] ... The new government's non-descript programme is very disappointing. It reinforces the widespread impression that it conceals a secret agenda for cutbacks, with concrete figures and deadlines."
